Pretty much everyone has had their ear lobes pierced at one point or another. If you haven’t, you at least have an idea of what kind of piercing that is! Lobes are simple and very versatile. Our pricing for a lobe is $15 each, and our prices always include standard jewelry! Below is a chart of all the piercings that we offer at Emerald Tattoo!

Next up is facial and oral piercings! This is where things can get tricky. There are a bunch of different lip piercings, all with different names and locations. We also offer eyebrow piercings ,upper cheek dermal piercings, septum, and nostril piercings. Here’s a blog about the different lip and oral piercings we do!

Lastly, we’ve got body piercings. This includes anything from a navel piercing, nipple piercings, genital piercings, and dermal anchors! (Wanna learn more about nipple piercings? Go here!) Dermals are a fun and visually striking piercing, that can be place just about anywhere on the body. You can express your style and individuality with this unique body piercing, and our piercers love to do them! Aftercare

Once you get a new piercing, aftercare is very important in the healing process. For full aftercare steps, check out the link below. Here are some quick tips to keep in mind during healing;

  • Never twist your piercing! It damages the newly developing skin cells that are trying to heal around the piercing, and can actually slow down the healing process!

  • WASHING your piercing 2-3 times a day is the best way to promote healthy healing

  • Sea salt spray helps clear away any crust build up, but shouldn’t be used solely for healing

  • Taking ibuprofen for the first few days after getting a piercing can reduce swelling

Time To Upgrade!

Once you’ve gotten your new piercing, you’re probably wondering when it’s time to upgrade and change out your jewelry. Before you’re able to switch to something fancy, you have to wait until it’s completely healed. I know waiting is hard, but be patient! Once your piercing is fully healed, you can come into the shop and our piercers will change out your jewelry at no cost! We have a wide variety of fashion jewelry at the shops, so you can find that perfect piece! Check out the chart below for healing times!
