Galen – Lodi, CA
Galen’s first tattoo was a memorial piece done by Scott Sylvia about 20 years ago. At the time, a manager for a Fortune 500 company his boss told him, “You just ruined your life, buddy.” Galen has been ruining his life ever since. He’s been a gang youth counselor working from South Central L. A. to South Sacramento. He was a wildland forest firefighter, bartender, and restaurant manager and ended up working as a manager for Barnes and Noble for almost 20 years. An avid book collector and one of those weirdos that love poetry, Galen has the perfect balance of stern authority and artistic empathy to manage our shop. Galen loves art, literature, and his children. Apparently, his least favorite thing is future Galen.
